The brush comes with a two years standard warranty, but if you have a brush head subscription this will also provide your brush with life time warranty as long as the subscription is active. The BURST toothbrush uses a sonic vibrating brush head that is able to produce a lot of vibrations! These sonic vibrations in conjunction with its two layered bristle brush head has been helping my patients keep their teeth clean.
It's built-in quad interval timer feature is a 2 minute timer that is divided into four 30 second prompts which alerts you when it's time to switch to a different section of your mouth. This is useful because it allows you to spend an equal amount of time on each quadrant (fourth) of your mouth.
It has soft bristles that are gentle to the gums. These bristles are tapered (pointy shaped) which reduced the risk of brushing away your gums or irritating them. To further help prevent brushing away the gums, the brush's motor will slow down if you put too much pressure.

The battery lasts for several weeks (up to 4 weeks) if you're using it twice a day. When the battery life is getting low the "red cross" will flash several times letting you know that it's time to charge it up.
As I briefly mentioned earlier the brush head has two layers of bristles. I really like brushes with two layers because I feel like it helps cover more surface area of the teeth and gums and overall provide a more effective cleaning.
It has 3 brushing modes!
-Sensitive: In this mode the brush reduces it's vibrations and feels more gentle on the gums. This is the mode that I use when I brush, it's my favorite!
-Massage: In this mode the brush has a "pulsating" effect. I think this mode feels nice, but I wouldn't say it feels like a massage.
-Whitening: In this mode the brush feels like it's vibrating in a more "aggressive" manner. I believe the purpose of this is to help remove those tougher surface stains. With one of these 3 different modes you'll be sure to find a mode that satisfies your needs and comfort.
Finally, in between all those bristles you'll find what I call an X rubber. The purpose of this is to help remove surface stains when it makes contact with them and provide a whiter smile.

My final comments on the BURST toothbrush:
If you're new to a sonic toothbrush consider using the sensitive mode to start because the fast vibrations might feel too aggressive on your teeth and gums. You might also experience some tickling on the gums but after a few days of using the brush this should no longer be an issue.
I believe the burst oral care team has done a great job designing this toothbrush, making it very affordable for it's consumers, and their customer service is top-notch.
