The BURST Coconut Whitening Strips work by using a 6% solution of hydrogen peroxide which penetrates the enamel and releases oxygen that is able to breakdown large stain molecules making the teeth appear whiter. Because they use a low (but effective) percentage of hydrogen peroxide they are able to reduce the risk of causing tooth sensitivity.
A package of BURST Coconut Whitening Strips comes with a total of 14 strips, 7 for the top and 7 for the bottom. As shown on the instructions, one application requires that you use one strip for the top and one for the bottom for 10 minutes. I recommend that you brush your teeth prior to applying the strips, preferably with the BURST Sonic Toothbrush which will also help remove surface stains. After that dry the surface of your teeth with a napkin and apply and fold one strip on the upper arch and one on the lower arch and leave it on for 10 minutes.
As with any other whitening strips, you'll most likely salivate after a few minutes and have to run to the sink to spit out. This is probably the most difficult thing about using these strips. Thankfully these strips don't taste as bad as other whitening strips I've used and although they are advertised as 'Coconut Whitening Strips' they really don't taste like coconut, at least not in my honest opinion. After the 10 minute application remove the strips and gently brush and rinse your teeth to remove all of the excess gel from your teeth. Repeat once a day for a week and notice how your teeth will progressively get whiter day by day!
